Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PDF Toolkit (the “App”), provided by Blue Horizon Ventures Florida LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Document No. L25000270725) (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the App Does

PDF Toolkit is a privacy-first mobile application that lets users process PDF files directly on their device, including features such as:

• Images to PDF
• Merge PDFs
• Split PDF
• Compress PDF

The App is designed so that PDF processing occurs locally on the device.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only in ways that do not:

• violate applicable law or regulation;
• infringe the rights of other persons or entities;
• attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the App beyond rights granted by applicable law;
• use the App to process content you do not have the legal right to use.

3. Local Processing and User Responsibility

The App is intended to process files locally on your device. You are responsible for the documents, images, and data you choose to process, for maintaining backups of important files, and for reviewing output files before sharing, submitting, or relying on them.

We do not review your documents before or after processing.

4. Purchases and Pro Features

Certain features may require a one-time in-app purchase or other paid entitlement identified in the App as “Pro”. Billing is processed through the relevant app store provider, not directly by us. Pricing, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment processing are governed by the applicable app store terms and policies.

5. No Warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE HORIZON VENTURES FLORIDA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, OR DEVICE / FILE CORRUPTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE APP.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR RELATED IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its branding, software, interface, and related content provided by us, is owned by or licensed to Blue Horizon Ventures Florida LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update the App, modify features, fix bugs, improve performance, or change these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted in the App, store listing, website, or other official channel associated with the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App where permitted by law, including where use of the App creates legal, security, abuse, or compliance risk. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
